Welcome to Harmony Haven!

We are excited to embark on this musical journey with you. To ensure a positive and productive experience for all students and staff, please familiarize yourself with the following policies:

Registration and Enrollment

  1. All students, whether new or returning, are required to complete a registration form before enrolling in any lessons. This helps us keep accurate records and ensures we have the necessary contact information.

  2. Secure your preferred lesson times with our first-come-first-served scheduling policy, ensuring fairness and equal opportunity for all students.

  3. Please be aware that music lessons continue throughout the summer months. If you plan to take a break during this time, kindly provide us with a 30-day written notice. Failure to do so may result in charges for the upcoming month's lessons.

Lesson Cancellations and Make-Up Policy

  1. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to the need for lesson cancellations. To ensure efficient scheduling, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations. To cancel a lesson, please utilize our online cancellation form. This ensures swift notification to your teacher via both phone and email.

  2. While missed lessons are non-refundable, providing at least 24 hours' notice grants eligibility for up to 2 makeup lessons per school year.

  3. We observe statutory holidays, aligning with many students' schedules. Lessons scheduled on these holidays can either be skipped, rescheduled, or continued.

  4. Should your teacher be unable to conduct a scheduled lesson due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or extreme weather, we'll promptly arrange a makeup lesson at your convenience.

Payment & Fees

  1. To ensure smooth and efficient transactions, we accept payments through cash, cheque, or eTransfer only. We kindly ask that payment for the upcoming month be settled at the beginning of each month, covering the total cost based on the number of scheduled lessons.

  2. Monthly tuition is calculated based on the number of scheduled lessons for that month, typically ranging from 3 to 5 lessons. This ensures fairness and accuracy in billing, accommodating variations in the number of lessons per month.

  3. To discontinue music lessons, a written notice of 30 days is required, submitted to admin@theharmonyhaven.ca. Any scheduled lessons within this period will be billed as usual.

  4. Additional costs may apply for music books or supplies recommended by the teacher, available for purchase online or at local music stores. These resources enhance the learning experience and support student progress.

  5. An annual registration fee of $25 per student is charged to cover expenses such as student binders, photocopies, and recitals held throughout the year.

Photo Release

  1. At Harmony Haven , we love capturing moments that showcase the joy and passion our students bring to their musical journey. By participating in our programs, events, or performances, you grant us permission to use photographs or videos featuring you or your child for promotional purposes, including but not limited to our website, social media channels, and marketing materials. Rest assured, we prioritize your privacy and will never use personal information without your consent. If you have any concerns or wish to opt out of photo release, please contact us directly.
